South Liverpool Business Network is an organisation that brings together companies in south Liverpool to actively promote the interests of local enterprises, facilitate networking and promote sensible inter-trading amongst the business community, lobby on behalf of local businesses and to promote Corporate Social Responsibility.
Established with grant support from Speke Garston Partnership 1997, we are now a self-sustaining non-profit making enterprise having established ourselves as an independent company in January 2005.
Our Business Breakfast on 27th November was the last one for 2014, and sadly the last one which the Directors of South Liverpool Business Network are likely to host.
After almost 15 years of operation, the Directors have taken the difficult decision to call it a day with regard to hosting breakfast events due to declining numbers.
SLBN have attracted some excellent speakers - mainly through the auspices of our President Roger Phillips, but despite that, physical attendance has been very poor leading us to this decision.
We will continue to run our Linked In group which seems to grow on a daily basis.
For the last two years, we have not taken any membership fees for SLBN as we did not feel it was appropriate as we weren't offering anything other than the breakfast briefings.
However, we may on occasion hold one off events and if that is the case, we will advise you through our Linked In network.
The Directors - Paul Levinson, Julie MacCluskey and Stephen Sykes, would like to thank you for your support of our network and would also like to thank our President Roger Phillips for his unswerving support of our group.
We would also like to thank Partnership for Learning who have both provided sponsorship and hosted our breakfast meetings for this long period of time.
